The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the UN Department of Social and Economic Affairs, and The World Bank are organising a virtual side event on ” Enhancing the contribution of migrants in the post COVID-19 era” taking place virtually on Tuesday, 17 May, from 1:15 to 2:30 PM (EDT/New York)

“This side event takes place within the framework of the first International Migration Review Forum (IMRF). It focuses explicitly on the contribution of migrants to sustainable development and is aimed to provide Member States and other stakeholders with concrete suggestions on how to promote the implementation of objectives 19 and 20 of the Global Compact. The side event sees the participation of renowned public and private sector stakeholders involved in the remittance ecosystem, sharing experiences, practices, and ways to leverage the opportunities offered within the post COVID-19 era.”
