PRIME Africa

The Platform for Remittances, Investments and Migrants’ Entrepreneurship in Africa, PRIME Africa, aims to address development opportunities through innovations, partnerships and scalable products that promote cheap and fast remittance transfers. By helping maximise the impact of remittances for millions of families, PRIME Africa will contribute to foster local economic opportunities in the migrant workers’ countries of origin.

DMAG has produced a series of country diagnostics to provide extensive details on remittance markets in seven African countries. A remittance-led website is also being built which will bring together remittance and remittance-related information across Africa (RemitSCOPE Africa). A database of all remittance-related data is also being produced.
